Feb 11, 2017 Candy melts technically don't go bad. When they get a white look to them it just means the fat has started to seperate in them. All you need to do is add Paramount crystals, or a little Crisco to them. They will melt like normal and be as good as new. The funny taste is not from the chocolate itself, but from something you have stored it near.
